About the breed
Standard Poodles are a water dog originating in Germany centuries ago! They were bred for waterfowl retrieval, and there are still many kennels who breed for such purposes today! Basically, anything your lab can do they can do better lol!
The Standard Poodle is known for its high level of intelligence, trainability, and non-shedding hypoallergenic coat. They are a very loving and affectionate breed that do very well with many types of families. Poodles are also very athletic and one of the most versatile breeds. They excel at many dog sports such as agility and obedience, as well as assistance and therapy and service dog work. They require regular grooming to maintain their coat, but their hairstyles are endless and can be clipped to a lower maintenance trim if needed to accommodate your lifestyle.
Standard Poodles have a fairly wide range in size that can vary from 16' or taller and can range from 35-80+ lbs.

Standard Poodles come in a variety of colors. Solid colors are the only colors acceptable in the AKC conformation ring, however, multicolored poodles are able to compete in any other performance event with AKC and can show in conformation in UKC events!
below is one of my favorite examples of color and pattern variations in the breed! hereditary diseases or conditions. We also provide our dogs with the best possible care, including proper nutrition, exercise, and socialization.
About our breeding program
Our main focus in our breeding program is breeding a sound dog in both temperament and structure.
We breed both solid and multicolor Standard Poodles Colors we focus on improving quality and temperament in are reds, apricots and brindles, but we do not limit ourselves to these colors.
We work hard to raise well rounded puppies that will fit in with most families and have produced puppies that have been placed in successful service, show and performance homes, as well as wonderful companion homes.
We compete with our Poodles in UKC and IABCA conformation events as well as competing in performance events in both AKC & UKC venues. We have plans to step into the AKC conformation ring in the future with one of our solid puppies.
All of our poodles are tested above recommendations from PCA (Poodle Club of America) and will have their OFA CHIC numbers prior to breeding. We do diversity testing through UC Davis as well and have all of our dogs in our program listed on Betterbred.
